What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

If your DMCA notice meets all the requirements above, we will:

  • Take down or disable access to the claimed infringing material as soon as we can.
  • Notify the person who posted the material (if we have their contact information).
  • Keep a record of the notice for our own records.

We act in good faith and follow the DMCA process to protect both copyright owners and our users.

Counter-Notice (If Your Content Was Removed)

If we removed content because of a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send us a counter-notice.

Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your full name and contact details.
  2. The exact URL or description of the material that was removed.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court in the United States and acceptance of service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will forward your counter-notice to the original claimant. If they do not file a lawsuit within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the content.

Repeat Infringers

We have a policy to terminate the accounts or access of users who repeatedly infringe on copyrights. If we receive multiple valid DMCA notices about the same user or IP address, we may permanently block that user from our website.
